Finding a probiotic that actually works can be a long frustrating process especially if you want one that doesn’t cost an arm, a leg, and a kidney! (LOL) Whether you have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), leaky gut syndrome, or some other issue that’s got your digestive system out of balance; you need a clean probiotic that will naturally bring your gut back to a place of wholeness without eating up all your extra coins!

I know all about the struggle because I’ve gone through countless probiotics after suffering from years of digestive issues due to overuse of antibiotics, stress, poor diet, and unhealthy sleep habits. I also want to add that I started typing this post over a year ago & never finished or posted it until now! So since then, I have change the brand of probiotics that I take SEVERAL times! I don’t think this is due to the probiotics being bad quality though. I once read that after a while your gut kind of gets immune to the strains of bacteria that your daily probiotic pills contain, making the probiotic less effect over time. Therefore, you eventually need to change your brand of probiotics and introduce new strains of healthy bacteria to your gut, ones that your gut has not already built immunity to. (I’m no doctor or medical professional; so please do your own research on this! But I have found that changing my brand of probiotics at least every year is most helpful for my tummy!)

Lastly and most importantly, keep in mind that probiotics do not just mysteriously make all your health issues go away! You still have to eat healthy, sleep well, decrease stress, and take care of yourself all the way around! In other words, you still need SELF-CARE for your WHOLE BEING (body, soul, & spirit) when taking probiotics. Proper self-care will help the probiotics, that you spend your hard earned dollars on, actually work!
