
Hey there! If you didn’t know, March is National Nutrition Month! And to celebrate, I want to encourage you and kids all around the world to EAT MORE FRUIT instead of sugary sweets!
Unlike the unhealthy table sugar found in candy and pastries, fruit sugar is NATURAL, HEALTHY, & loaded with vitamins & nutrients that make you so much more stronger and better equipped to tackle life!
Bananas contain potassium! Strawberries contain fiber (good for keeping your bowels moving)! Then, we all know oranges contain vitamin c (good for fighting colds)! Apples contain fiber as well (again, good for keeping your bowels regular)! And grapes…well idk what they contain off the top of my head (HAHA) but I know it’s something good!
But the point is, if you’re gonna eat sugar, EAT HEALTHY SUGAR!
So this week, I challenge you to eat a banana drizzled with peanut butter and honey INSTEAD of that chocolate candy bar. Or make a grape salad with chilled grapes, crushed nuts, & SUGAR FREE yogurt, then top it with cinnamon and date syrup! Now, I know those donuts, snack cakes, and such can sometimes FEEL like an irresistible treat; but I want to remind you that many of those things just don’t contain the vitamins and nutrients that your body needs to stay well. And your beautiful body DESERVES BETTER! You don’t have to throw out all the sweet treats at once, but at least TRY to eat a little more fruit this month and make some small adjustments! YOU deserve it babe!!!
